Photos are great. They capture a moment in time forever and show things just as they were. Unfortunately, photos also become outdated. That cutting-edge technology from 1984, thank you Mac 128K, isn’t looking so cutting-edge anymore.
DoIT had social channels that had fallen victim to aging visuals. They needed to do something fresh that would have a relatively long shelf life. Short of a twinkie after the apocalypse, simple icons can look fresh for years and years. Taking iconic imagery from the University of Wisocnsin–Madison campus and blending it with modern tech gave DoIT the perfect blend of cutting-edge and nostalgia that will keep them looking fresh across their social channels for years to come.
